MAY 16-17, 2016
You are invited to join the Alliance for Childhood Cancer for the 5th Annual Childhood Cancer Action Days. This two-day event in Washington brings our community together to advocate for important childhood cancer issues currently before Congress.
Registration is now open. A registration fee of $50 per family will help cover expenses, including breakfast and lunch on training day for all attendees. A limited number of scholarships will be available.
Your Voice Matters
A strong showing of advocates at Action Days 2016 is more crucial than ever, as we anticipate the Childhood Cancer STAR Act will be at a critical point in the legislative process. Sharing your story in Washington this spring will help us tip the scales toward securing passage of this historic, bipartisan legislation.
There are a limited number of scholarships available to attend Action Days 2016. If you think you are a deserving candidate, please follow the link below to apply.
Faces of Childhood Cancer Project
Calling all childhood cancer families: The Faces of Childhood Cancer project is a way for families to actively participate in Action Days even if you are unable to attend in-person.
We want our legislators to recognize that childhood cancer goes beyond statistics by showing them the faces of our children. Our children are more than just the cancer they experience. We have created the Faces of Childhood Cancer Project to share their story with legislators.
These pages will be shared with legislators at the advocacy meetings we will have in June.
